Prime-Line FJ 2520 25 In. x 9/16 In. Spiral Non-Tilt Balance, Red Tip (Single Pack)

This is a non-tilt style spiral balance with a red bushing at its tip. It has a bow tie shaped device installed in the end of the spiral rod. The bow tie engages a balance foot that has been installed on the bottom edge of the window (vent) with a dual hook protruding out from the corner for the bow tie to engage. Often it is used on wood windows, but may be found on others as well. This balance is 25 inch long and 9/16 inch in diameter. It is charged or wound up using the Prime-Line part H 3788 tensioning tool.
